James C. Irwin and Henry Clark of Turtle Creek Township are sued in Common Pleas Court, Warren County, Ohio in May Term 1831 by State of Ohio for fighting or boxing with each other in Turtle Creek Township on 10 September 1830. They were bound over by the Grand Jury. Recorded by 1831, State Records, Book 4, Pages 351-353. Interesting note: James pled guilty as indicted but was acquitted and discharged when Henry was found not guilty.
