Patterson of Green County, Ohio sold their 1/6th interest in following properties to William Harper Irwin of Warren County, Ohio which included 63 1/4 acres in Tract No. 1 located in Range 2, Township 4, Section 21 in Miami Purchase of Warren County, Ohio, 160 acres located in Tract 2 located in Range 2, Township 4, Section 34 (South East quarter of section) in Warren County, Ohio. 7.91 acres in Tract 3 located in Range 2, Township 4, Section 27 (South West corner of tract) in Warren County, Ohio. 17 3/8 acres located in Range 2, Township 4, Section 33 in the Miami Purchase in Warren County, Ohio. Tract 4 which included all the tract or parcel of land being in part of Range 2, Township 3, Section 10 between the Miami Rivers, in the Butler County, Ohio. This Tract 4 is located next to boundary line to the East by Britton Irwin property and South East corner Britton Irwin property was Samuel Fox’s property and South West of Samuel Fox’s property was William S. Moore property and North of William S. Moore’s property was Furman Moore’s property. Tract 5 which included 117 acres in Range 2, Township 4, Section 27 (South West corner) in Warren County, Ohio being the same land that was devised by James Irwin late of Butler County, deceased, to Robert Irwin and others. Tract 6 which included 99 1/4 acres located in Range 2, Township 4, Section 27 (South West corner) located next to John Lowes, Peter Tetrick, and Jonathan Whitaker’s land. 17 1/2 acres in Range 2, Township 4, Section 27 (South East corner of tract) in Warren County, Ohio located next to John Lowes, Peter Tetrick, and Jonathan Whitaker’s land. 17 1/2 acres located in Range 2, Township 4, Section 27 of Miami Purchase in Warren County, Ohio located next to land formerly owned by Peter Tetrick and next to the Tetrick Plantation. Tract 8 contained 100 acres, 6 acres, 2 acres, 1 acre, and 81 1/3 acres located in Range 2, Township 4, Section 21 of Miami Purchase of Warren County, Ohio. The above described premises being intended to cover all the real estate owned by William Cox Irwin at his deceased and this deed being made to convey all the interest of Martha A. Patterson and her husband, T. C. Patterson as heirs at law to William Harper Irwin of Warren County, Ohio for $5,588.64. Witness by R.L. Van Harlinger, Notary Public of Warren County, Ohio, O.M. Robert Irwin filed complaint on the Chancery side of Common Law in Warren County, Ohio vs James A.I. Lowes and others of Warren County, Ohio regarding land located in Deerfield Township, Warren County, Ohio in Section 27, Township 4, Range 2, on 5 July 1849. The land was subject to a lease upon property, as shown on Bills of Complaints in the favor of William Cox Irwin. On the 5 September1849, a right of partition was issued in the premises directed to the Sheriff of Warren County, Ohio commanding him to make a partition to the property by August Term 1849. The sheriff stated that the land could not be divided, without manifest an injury thereto, and that the Freeholders were appraised thirty one dollars per acre. William Cox Irwin, one of the parties was interested in the land appeared in court and elected to take said property at it’s appraised value. At the 1849 November Term of court , it was directed that the final decree to be entered in, the court adjudge to William Cox Irwin, his heirs and assign forever all and singular the real property foresaid at it’s appraised value, which the Court find amount to the sum of three thousand and six hundred and twenty four dollars and forty eight cents ($3,624.48) subject to the lease foresaid, that upon paying that sum, the said sheriff shall execute and deliver unto William Cox Irwin a deed, conveying to him the real property along with the improvement thereon on 8 December 1849.

These two tracts are subject to a lease upon property, as shown on Bills of Complaints in the favor of William Cox Irwin. The subject to said lease, said real estate could be divided according to the law, amongst the several parties according to their respective rights. On the 5 September1849, a right of partition was issued in the premises directed to the Sheriff of Warren County, Ohio commanding him by the oath of the freeholders named therewith, he caused a partition to be made of the property and write to the court by August Term 1849. The sheriff stated that the land could not be divided, without manifest injury thereto, and that the Freeholders were appraised thirty one dollars per acre. The court entered their decree in the premises which recites substantially, that the right of partition had been by Sheriff duly executed. That William Cox Irwin, one of the parties was interested in the premises appeared in court and elected to take said property at it’s appraised value. At the November Term of court in 1849 directed that the final decree to be entered in, the court adjudge to William Cox Irwin, his heirs and assign forever all and singular the real property foresaid at it’s appraised value, which the Court find amount to the sum of three thousand and six hundred and twenty four dollars and forty eight cents ($3, 624.48) subject to the lease foresaid, that upon paying that sum, the said sheriff shall execute and deliver unto William Cox Irwin a deed, conveying to him the real property along with the improvement thereon on 8 December 1849.

Also a lot of land lying and being in Section 27, Township 4 , Range 2, in the Miami Purchase, that was part of the premises devised by James Irwin to the heir of Mary J. Lowes and her husband, James Scott are all living in Warren County, Ohio on 1 March 1873 according to the Notary Public who prepared their statement. John Lowes Cook and his wife, Clara Amanda Anderson are living in Montgomery, Hamilton County, Ohio on 5 March 1873 according to the Notary Public who prepared their statement in regards to the deed to William Cox Irwin. John Lowes Cook and Clara Amanda Anderson are living in Montgomery, Hamilton County, Ohio on 3 March 1873.
