Catharine Harper – On 5 August 1820 Constable Dunhane summoned a jury by subpoena from Colston Payne regarding Catherine Harper (widow of Samuel Harper) and question for the peace for Union Township, Warren County, Ohio. The jury found Catharine Harper an insane person that declared that she, and her 3 children (Asa, John and unknown), real property and personal property should be dealt with. Catharine Harper’s minor children, Asa Harper (age 14) and John Harper (age 14) were declared minor orphans and assigned guardians.

Samuel Harper’s Estate in Wayne Township, Warren County, Ohio dated 22 August 1827. Heir was widow, Catherine Harper and Administrator of Estate was James Weeks.

Note: Samuel Harper left orphan children, Asa Harper (age 14) and John Harper (age 14).
