John A. Irwin and his wife, Catharine Irwin, Samuel Collins and his wife, Mary Brine Collins , Seth S. Haines, Oscar J. Wright, Thomas L. Allen, Benjamin Evans and Jacob Y. McKay. were sued by Jonas T. McKay in Common Pleas Court for their land mortgages in Warren County, Ohio in December Term 1855.

John A Irwin, Samuel Collins, John Collins, James Bradsford, and Richard Marshall were sued in Common Pleas Court in Warren County, Ohio for $89.00 in damages and cost tax of 50 cents by David Mason. Recorded in 1855 Final Record, Book 5, pages 609-614. The defendants did not have the money to pay for the damages or cost tax so their land in Warren County next to Miami River was mentioned in lawsuit to cover these expenses.
