Britton Moore Irwin states that he purchased the land and has no knowledge of any prior arrangements with Gladdish Thomas and asks the court to quiet the claim and be free from molestation or disturbance by Gladdish Thomas.

On 25 June 1885, T.E. Irvins filed petition in Common Pleas Court in Warren County, Ohio against Charles B. Monroe for unpaid debt of $348 made on 28 February 1884 in Warren County, Ohio.

John A. Irwin and Samuel Collins, John Collins, James Bradsford and Gilhard Marshall & Company are sued by David Mason in Warren County, Ohio, Common Pleas Court on 15th day of December 1853. This was land suit regarding non payment of mortgage. It appears that John A. Irwin was deeded the land from Joseph L. Phillips on August 26, 1848. John A. Irwin conveyed by deed some of the land to James Bradsford on May 20, 1850. Gilhard Marshall & Company from Montgomery County, Ohio also hold a mortgage on the land. So, David Mason sues everyone to regain his loses.
