Fredk Irwin listed a Sergeant in the Muster Roll of a Volunteer Company of Infantry under the command of Captain Joseph Murray in the 1st Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers in the service of the United States Commanded by Colonel C.C. Biddle from November 24, 1814 when last mustered to January 4, 1815.  Commencement of Service 6 September 1814.
