Christopher Irwin listed in Pennsylvania Archives, Colonial Records, Series 6, Volume I page 313; Volume VIII page 1319, 1369

Christopher Irwin was excused from service as listed in  “A General Return of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Classes of Philadelphia Militia”.  Christopher was assigned the Second Class with substitute command of Captain William Semple.
