Boyle Irwin listed in Pennsylvania Archives, Colonial Records, Series 6, Volume IX page 721 “Expenditure by the State of Pennsylvania on the Account of the United States, 1812-1814”

Boyle Irwin is listed on Abstract of Payment in the Quartermasters Department in the service of the State of Pennsylvania at Erie.  Monies distributed for the use of the Corps of Pennsylvania Militia ordered by the Governor for the defense of the Northern Frontier of the State on Lake Erie commanded by Brigade General John Kelso in 1812. 

Boyle Irwin was paid for Powder & etc. in amount of $100.35.
