Robert Irwin who testified for James Irwin regarding his Revolution War Pension is not his brother.  Robert Irwin is John and Mary Irwin son, he was born 7 Jan 1763 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and died 23 July 1833 in Butler County, Ohio.  Robert married Mary Snodgrass on 17 April 1787.  I found this information from Hayden Avery Klatte  and Robert Irwin S.A.R.
